Dr. Huang earned a PhD in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Economics from Peking University. Prior to joining Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Huang worked at Boston University, where she taught the core financial and managerial accounting courses in both undergraduate and MBA programs. Dr. Huang’s research focuses on corporate disclosure and regulation, social media, corporate governance, and institutional trading. Dr. Huang won Best Paper Awards at the European Accounting Association Annual Congress and the Asian-Pacific Conference on International Accounting Issues. Since joining Hong Kong Polytechnic University, her work has appeared at the Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, China Accounting and Finance Research and has been featured in Columbia Law School’s corporations and capital markets blog. She has been awarded General Research Fund (GRF) by Hong Kong Research Grant Committee.
