Munhee Han is a Research Assistant Professor in Finance at the School of Accounting and Finance, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She joined PolyU in 2020 upon the completion of her Ph.D in Finance with Scholar of Distinction from the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her M.S. in Finance with Outstanding Student Award from University at Buffalo in 2014 and her B.S. from Sookmyung Women’s University (Summa Cum Laude) in 2012.
Munhee Han primarily studies mutual funds and other institutional investors. Her research interests also include market microstructure topics such as liquidity and trading costs. Her research has been awarded the Outstanding Paper award in Investments at the Eastern Finance Association Annual Meeting 2019 and selected for a semifinalist for the Best Paper Award in Investments at the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting 2019.
